The Vaughn School District is a K-8 system with approximately 80 terrific students. The District staff includes 11 teachers and 9 support staff, headed by a Board of five trustees.
Vaughn School is currently operating over 50 computers in classrooms and in the computer lab, all of which are networked with a high capacity server. With televisions, VCRs, SmartBoards, document cameras, CPS clickers, internet, and phones available for every classroom, the District is committed to offering our children the opportunity to leap into the 21st Century well prepared.
The District offers a wide variety of programs at the academic and athletic level. Programs include Band, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Wrestling, and Track, with an emphasis on providing the best developmental offerings possible. The academic attitude and all-around readiness of the students is reflected in their academic success. Vaughn School has received a grant which helps the school provide an afterschool program called W.A.T.C.H. (Wildcats Are Taken Care of Here). Vaughn is located 11 miles west of Great Falls, Montana and is a community of about 600 wonderful people. The proximity to Great Falls offers the small town atmosphere combined with the convenience of the city at your fingertips. The community consists of farmers and ranchers, as well as a number of residents commuting to Great Falls for employment.
